Mortal remains of Sushma Swaraj shifted to BJP HQ

The mortal remains of former union external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj were moved to BJP headquarters in Delhi for the party workers to pay last tribute after which she will be cremated with full state honours at Lodhi Road Electric Crematorium at around 3pm.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind paid tribute to Swaraj at her residence. Several leaders cutting across party lines also paid tribute to the late BJP leader. Swaraj, 67, died of cardiac arrest at AIIMS Delhi last night.
