That’s exactly what #ShahidKapoor tries hard to do in #BattiGulMeterChalu, Shree Narayan Singh movie with a refreshingly ‘social’ plot. Shahid almost succeeds, too, with his performance that is, as usual, high voltage. The star twinkles bright both as a wily blackmailing lawyer and a fiery yet sensitive crusader – showing us exactly why he is one of #Bollywood ’s finest today. As for the other actors – Shraddha Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma and Yami Gautam all show intent. But is that enough to salvage a storyline that runs for nearly 3 hours?
