Delhi pollution: Foreign tourists all set to take masks’ help for protection

A thick layer of smog continued to cover the sky of the national capital on November 05. The air quality of Delhi took a major hit due to a combination of stubble burning, firecracker emissions and unfavourable meteorological conditions. Several foreign tourists coming to Delhi are well aware about the problems of pollution.

They are all set to wear masks in order to protect and shield themselves from harmful environment. Additionally, the Arvind Kejriwal led-government in Delhi has announced the implementation of the ‘odd-even scheme’ from November 04-15 to curb the air pollution.

Earlier, the Supreme Court-mandated Environment Pollution (Prevention and Control) Authority (EPCA) declared public health emergency in Delhi due to rising air pollution levels on November 01. (ANI)
