The Texas burger chain has sold majority part to a Chicago company
The founding family of Whataburger has sold the majority part of its ownership. They have done so in an attempt to expand. Subsequently, a Chicago investment firm has become the Texas burger giants’ partner. The Chicago firm, BDT Capital Partners, is going to counsel the expansion strategy. Undoubtedly, Texas fans of the burger chain are in agony. They took to Twitter to express Texas’ ‘loss’.

But the headquarters of the company will continue to be in San Antonio.
Scrolling through the fans’ comments, the company could not help but respond. Hence, they assured the Texans that Whataburger still remains the same.
Indeed, they don’t want Texans to be upset!
