There are some shows that have a huge audience. Then there are some shows which have a huge following. Then there are some shows which have a cult following.
A cult following refers to a group of fans who are highly dedicated to the piece of art through all mediums. Passionate would be an understatement to describe the level of dedication they hold.
Well, Breaking Bad has become a cult classic garnering millions of viewers who would fight you on any given day if but a negative comment escapes for it, through you. And why wouldn’t they? There is hardly any comparison…up until now.

Another show on it’s way to become a cult classic is Netflix’s global blockbuster- Money Heist. While nowhere near the perfection that Breaking Bad holds, the makers of the show are working their fingers to the bone to achieve the status of being a cult classic and leaving it’s mark in history forever.

Perhaps a crossover between the two would be a good route to take? Is it happening?
We Have So Much In Common
The introduction of grey characters has truly changed the course of American Television history forever. Before the 90s, American Television was popular for a lot of things, but bad guys weren’t one of them. Mostly ruled by sitcoms, bad guys were few and hard to find.
Walter White’s journey was enjoyed by the audience worldwide because of the fact that he was not your next door-regular Joe, even though he actually was. No, Walter White was a human being haunted by his demons and trying to afford health care when he turns into one of the largest drug lord with a massive empire to fear. In other words, Walter White was real.
Which is what makes Walter White and The Professor so similar. The Professor is another very interesting grey character to watch on screen. If you were to cross him in the street, you might just smile at the guy who look so sincere and humble to the core. And in a way, he really is. But there’s a bad side to him as well which has drawn the audience in season after season.
And when it comes to the plot, drugs and money and guns are of course the material standouts connecting them together so well. So, what is this crossover going to look like?
When The Two Grandmasters Meet
The most interesting aspect would be to watch- who seeks out who? Will it be in form of an ally or foe?

The world of Breaking Bad and Money Heist are clouded by an amalgamation of crime, passion and complex human relationships. The crossover in no way would be a stretch to the imagination of it’s audience.
Perhaps, one way the storyline could go ahead is if any member of the gang is in need of a little pick me up given the constant load of stress they work under. And the gang members might fall in line of view of White if they try to mess with the mighty drug lord. (Which we know hardly goes well with the exception of few)
It is difficult to pin point the exact way the two worlds could collide. As one belong to realism and other one gently treads the line of hyper-realism. And the plot’s mystery will in all certainty remain a mystery as big as the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle is. But we know Netflix will have something up it’s sleeve to blow us away, won’t it?
The crossover is ambitious to say the least and will only prove beneficial for Money Heist to take the show’s level up a notch and as far as we- the audience are concerned, a chance to see our gang of Breaking Bad again is never an opportunity to miss.
