The 5 part series is yet again in the news and fans can’t keep calm this time. There are speculations that Breaking Bad is renewed for season 6.

Who is Walter White?
Breaking Bad is by far one of the greatest television shows of all time. The series needs no introduction to fans but for those who don’t know much about it, the series follows Walter White, played by Bryan Cranston, who is a hard-luck guy high school teacher.
After finding out that he has cancer, he begins to worry about what would happen to his family if he dies. This gets him to use his chemistry skills, a beat up RV and a former student to cook up one of the best meth in all of New Mexico.
Recap to the season finale
The finale episode of the series which aired in September 2013, was very emotional for fans. Walter White had kept away 9 million dollars for when his son Walter Jr turns 18, as told to Gretchen and Elliot who were responsible to give it to him. He admits that he continued to produce meth for his satisfaction and ego, rather than for the benefit of the family as he had always asserted.
In the end, White succumbs to a gunshot wound and spends his last moments gazing around the meth lab until he suddenly collapses and dies.
Why do we all need a season 6?
It is without a doubt quite obvious that fans definitely want a season 6. Fans have taken to social media platforms like Twitter, instagram and reddit to express how much they miss Breaking Bad and want a new season very soon.

After the series ended, El Camino was the next best thing close to making fans feel appreciative of their dedication and obsession with the storyline and characters, but fans weren’t not pleased enough. “El Camino wasn’t enough, we deserve Breaking Bad Season 6” said a fan, @joshua_Blick on twitter.
What will happen in season 6?
Fans would love to know what happens to everyone after Walter White’s death. Perhaps, his son will be 18 then and will inherit all 9 million dollars that was left behind for him by his father. And who knows, he just might end up carrying forward his father’s legacy.
While El Camino did capture pretty much everything Jesse fans would’ve loved to see, there is still so much room for creativity for showrunners to work on. It would be interesting to see what happens after he decides to make a new identity for himself.
When will the new be released?
The production for the new season would most probably begin after the Coronavirus crisis has ended and it is safe enough to resume back to work. For the time being, all productions have been stalled and an official confirmation can be expected only after the pandemic ends.
But it is only natural for us to hope for the new season to be released in late 2021 or early 2022.
