Coronavirus could not kill the undead of TWD season 11
The entertainment business around the globe has taken a toll due to the Coronavirus fear. Many big-shot production houses chose to shutter down until Coronavirus assuages. But looks like Coronavirus can’t stop The Walking down crew from working on season 11. The showrunner Angela Kang told The Hollywood Reporter how the writers are suited-up to deal with Coronavirus.
‘I’m a tech-head,’ she told the publication: ‘We do video conferences regularly. On a normal basis, I’m very stringent about, “If you’re sick, don’t come into the office.”
‘The other day, I was on the phone and in meetings from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., all day straight. I did Skype, I did FaceTime, I did Zoom, I did remote reviewing of VFX. We are very well set up to work remotely. That’s been fine for us.’
So basically, Aaron mentioned that she is using the Work-from-Home option using the modern-day communication technology to continue working despite Coronavirus lockdown.
She teased a breakthrough thriller waiting on The Walking Dead season 11 in the times of Coronavirus.
‘We don’t want to see anyone turning against each other in times like these. Hopefully, everyone can come together. Those are the big themes of our show.’
While Season 11 of The Walking dead continues working, the production of the spin-off show Fear The Walking Dead is postponed until 13th April 2020.
The status of The Walking Dead season 11 so far
The Zombie Walkers of TWD haven’t stopped since they started in 2010. AMC renewed The Walking Dead (TWD) for season 11 in October 2019. Season 10 of TWD will air its final on 12th April 2020. As mentioned above, season 11 is in works, unhindered by Coronavirus fear. Angela Kang taking charge of The Walking Dead from season 10 has breathed new life in the dead series.
Official release date of season 11 is still under wraps but TWD will follow the Halloween release pattern. Not even Coronavirus can bend them. So season 11 of the Walking Dead will premiere in October/ November 2020. The makers confirmed that season 11 of The Walking Dead will bring back the fan-favorite Maggie Greene. Are you excited for Maggie Greene (Laura Cohan) joining in the Walkers for the infinite walk of TWD?
Not Coronavirus, but this can halt the infinite walk of The Walking Dead
The Walking Dead has come out unharmed from Coronavirus’ deadly scare but the Common Wealth track may begin the end of the infinite journey of The Walking Dead. Though, the makers have teased that the show can go on for 20 seasons and beyond but the commonwealth track will lead to setting up an ordered society post-apocalypse. This is in complete contrast to what The Walking Dead is all about- disorder, trauma, thrill and scary adversaries.
If it is the beginning of the end of The Walking dead will continue walking beyond season 11, we will have to wait for TWD season 11 to release.
