The Mandalorian appeared on Disney+ in November 2019. It gained a lot of popularity as the first of its kind, live-action Star Wars TV show, and mainstream society hasn’t been the same since they melted at the presentation of The Child, a.k.a. Baby Yoda.
But, is having him around really going to be a boon for the other characters and the series as a whole? The charming little green alien captured everyone’s attention and hearts just as soon as he looked out of his bassinet, and The Mandalorian season 2 is set to follow Mando on his strategic plan to locate a home for Baby Yoda. All things considered; Baby Yoda might create as well as have a hard time in The Mandalorian season 2.
- What problems could baby Yoda possibly cause?
- Is Baby Yoda himself going to face certain hardships?
- When is season 2 hitting the screens?
What problems could baby Yoda possibly cause?
The very initial problem is very obvious, Baby Yoda is a child. Even though he adorable and aged 50, it is shown that his species has a different aging speed which means that the challenges Mando ran into with him in season 1 probably won’t go away including the fact that he fails to understand a lot about Mando’s life.
Apart from this, it is a fact that Baby Yoda is an alien, the Mandalorian knows nothing about him or his species which can either make him a great boon or a great curse. Furthermore, he is a very powerful being and the characters aren’t even aware of the extent of his powers yet which leaves a lot of room of chaos and trouble.
Finally, Jedis are the enemy race of sorcerers and the very fact that Mando has to make sure that he reaches his home creates a potential risk for everyone including the little character himself.
First Things First. Are You Baby? (Quiz)
Is Baby Yoda himself going to face certain hardships?
The very moment that this little character ducked out of his adorable bassinet; it was obvious that he was going to steal all the thunder and spotlight as well as the hearts of the viewers.
This fact made him a real threat to the actual essence of the show which is based on the adventures of the Mandalorian and not the adventures of Baby Yoda– this had some fans worry about the fact that the creators are going to try to push the character’s essence down and away to be able to bring the actual stars to the light which is obviously, a great cause of worry for Baby Yoda.
Furthermore, concerning the plot, he is still an infant and isn’t aware of the fact that he has been found by the enemy team or sorcerers, which puts his life in potential danger. Will he make it home to the Jedi sorcerers or would Mando change his mind? Will exploring his powers create a problem for himself and Mando? Well, only time can tell!
