The Flash has shutdown production of its seventh season over coronavirus. It is the latest series to suspend filming as the novel coronavirus continues to engulf the world.
How popular is The Flash
The show’s pilot episode is CW’s second-most-watched premiere in the broadcaster’s history. Thus, making the show an instant hit even before the completion of its first season. With steady ratings and growing popularity, The CW Network has renewed The Flash for Season 7.
The seventh season’s revival comes alongside renewals of other Arrowverse shows including Batwoman, Legends of Tomorrow, Black Lightning, and Supergirl, as well as Roswell, Nancy Drew, Dynasty, Charmed, Legacies, All American, NM, and Riverdale.

The Flash Season 7 Release Date
Barring the second season of The Flash, all previous seasons of the superhero series have seen its release date in October. Therefore, The Flash Season 7 shall release in October 2020 (in all probabilities). However, there is no official source to back this claim, therefore, we will update this column as soon as the official release date is announced.

The Flash Season 6 Finale
At the beginning of The Flash Season 6, The Monitor told Barry that The Flash must die so that billions of people can live. However, it later turned out that John Wesley Shipp’s version of the speedster would die in his place. The incident occurred in an episode titled ‘Crisis on Infinite Earths’.
About the show
