Texan rapper Tay-K was convicted of murder on Friday. Not only this, but the 19-year-old whose real name is Taymor McIntyre also got convicted of robbery. The teenager was a part of a 2016 robbery that ultimately led to the death of a 21-year-old man.

Furthermore, according to a KTVT report, the others either reached a plea deal or were found guilty. In the trial, many witnesses testified that the rapper was a part of a ploy to loot drugs and money from the victim’s abode in Mansfield.
Also, as the trial proceeded, medical officers identified the victim as ‘Ethan Walker’ who neither had drugs nor money. In fact, according to his girlfriend, he was shot with his hands in the air.

Tay-K gained popularity with his 2017 viral video ‘The Race’. What was peculiar about this was that he was on the run at that time. In fact, at the very start of the video, he is seen posing with a wanted poster of himself! The video has 173 million views on YouTube and counting. Watch it here-
He had, in fact, cut off his ankle bracelet and fled from house arrest. Yet he gained support from other rappers back in 2017.
Future does not seem too bright for Tay-K. According to KTVT, he is looking at a life sentence between 5 to 99 years.
