Is there any hope for a revival?
The cast of ‘Supernatural’ made a big appearance for the show’s farewell board at the Television Critics Association summer press visit on Sunday and they seemingly opened the door for restoration.
“It’s a long journey that I don’t think is ever going to be over”, Jensen Ackles said in the interview. He continued, “Think we’re just going to go away for a while. For how long, I don’t know”.

Does that open the door for future spin-offs? A movie? A new show? Who knows? But then again, it is safe to say that Ackles has opened the pandora’s box and it’s going to get a lot of rumours till an official announcement replaces them.
He further clarified on social platforms, “I’m not even ready to close doors or burn bridges, I think that’s foolish. Am I saying there’s something in the works? No. Am I open to having a conversation in the future? What’s the harm in that?”
What happened in season 15?
The last season showed us a scary twist when Sam, Dean, and Castiel were shown collaborating with Lucifer’s child, Nephilim Jack Kline (Alexander Calvert), to bring down the big bad God (Rob Benedict). This proved to be more difficult than expected.
Furthermore, Jack got his spirit back and looked for absolution from the siblings for executing their mom. It is safe to say that the fifteenth season has been very emotional, as well as an extremely adventurous one.
Fans have been seen arguing that this is not an appropriate ending, they wish to find a happily ever after for their favourite characters. They wish to see them all back together like a family. There have also been protests over the delay of the final episodes of the show.

What do the creators have to say about the final episodes?
Fans have been arguing that they have followed the show for years and are upset about how the show ended. They took to social media to express the same. “The CW needs to finish Season 15! It’s not right leaving it hanging. I’ve watched this show from day 1 and all I can say is if you’re not gonna finish out Season 15 then why did you even bother going on to Season 16”.
The creators, in response, have recently requested the fans to be patient and rest assured because the final two episodes of the season are going to air soon. The final episodes of the show were delayed due to the pandemic. However, actors have already arrived at their shooting spots, the shoot is scheduled to resume post their 14-day quarantine (as per the regulations).
We can only hope that the final episodes of the show arrive sooner than later. What do you think will happen in the final episodes? Will there be more room for a surprise revival? Is God the final terror to be faced by the dynamic duo? Share your views with us in the comments section below.
