Suits aired its finale on Netflix and USA Network, bringing 9 years of thrilling journey to an end. But did it? Albeit show-runner Aaron Korsh’s claim, there still are loose ends that yet to be tied. How? Let’s find out here.

The beginning of new life for Louis, but is it of a happy one?
The Suits finale saw some much-needed romance and happy endings for fan-favourite characters. While Louis Litt and Sheila get hitched and give birth to a baby girl soon after, fans were treated with a bonus as Donna and Harvey too finally walked down the aisle. They decided to start the new chapter of their lives in Seattle and join Mike and Rachel’s law firm.
Unlike his predecessors, show-runner Aaron Korsh hit the grovel for Suits season 9 much earlier, which led many people to wonder whether he was pressured to hurry and leaving loose ends behind. For instance, Litt resigned from the firm as the name partner.
It was hinted in season 8 that Louis had already expressed his eagerness to step down as managing partner once his baby is born, proving that his priority is family. However, with a new baby comes many responsibilities and baggage. As a hotshot NYC lawyer, will Litt be able to manage a new family without a job? Or will he be back a few years down the line now that Harvey has left as well?
What will happen to the law firm?
Ahead of the season 9 premiere, show creator Aaron Korsh was asked in an interview with TV Guide, how many times will this firm have to order new stationery and send out a press release about the name changes in the whole show?
Funnily Korsh replied, “Excellent question. In true Suits fashion, at least one more time the firm is going to change its name, from what it was in the last season to what it is at the end of this season.” Needless to say, with Robert Zane, Harvey Specter, Louis Litt, and Samantha Wheeler gone and if season 10 finally sees the light of the day, the firm should be called Willam’s. Unless Samantha Wheeler decides to come back, which is unlikely as she didn’t seem invested with Zane gone.
What made Suits a legend?
Basically, Game of Thrones in Tom Ford suit, this smart, sassy, sophisticated, clever and immensely entertaining show, Suits, is USA Network’s longest-running original series with a total of 134 episodes and 9 seasons. It is still the second-highest-rated show in the USA.
The global fan base is enamored with the story of New York’s best closer, Harvey Specter, and his brilliant but troubled apprentice Mike Ross, whom Harvey has hired despite knowing he doesn’t have a law degree.
Time and time again, the show has proved to be a game-changer in the American entertainment industry with its female characters in powerful roles. For instance, Jessica Pearson’s character was initially written for a white male. However, the character was later passed on to and played to perfection by American-African Gina Torres.
Will there be a Suits season 10?
There hasn’t been any news about a new season from the network and the show creator. However, with Meghan Markel relieved from her senior royal duties, there are high chances that we might see her as Rachel once again along with the famous 4 in Seattle. It might take time. Until then you can enjoy Suit’s spin-off Pearson featuring Gina Torres. Are you too rooting for Suits season 10? Let us know in the comments section below.
