It’s no secret that The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco and Sheldon cooper earned huge fame and gets a hefty amount for the show. But who is the richest Kaley or Sheldon?
Being one of the most successful sitcoms of all time, Big Bang Theory actors have gone on to become stars. And as stars of a wildly successful TV show, they are reaping the benefits pretty well.
Highlights:
- Sheldon: The Genius Superstar
- Penny: The Successful Star
- Kaley Cuoco and Jim Parsons’ net worth is more than expected
The Big Bang Theory has performed well for a decade now closing with its 12th season and brought in a lot of revenue. The executives of the show were more than happy to give its cast and recurring members of Big Bang Theory hefty paychecks to show their gratitude and love. And it turns out some stars got more gratitude and love than the others.

Sheldon: The Genius Superstar
Arguably, the most popular character on the show was of Sheldon Cooper played by Jim Parsons. Jim Parsons not only did justice to the role but brought a fresh wave and enthusiasm to every episode that made the audience fall in love with him. Parsons is one of the prominent reasons the Big Bang Theory lasted for 12 seasons. It was also his decision to quit the show that led to creators of Big Bang Theory calling the show-off. Parsons was being paid a hefty amount of 1 Million per episode when the series ended.
The actor alongside other main casts of the Big Bang Theory took a pay cut of $100,000 per episode so recurring cast members Mayim Bailik and Melissa Rauch could get paid $500,000 each. (That is admirable!) Even then, Jim Parsons isn’t deep in the mud or even close. The actor, mostly thanks to his time playing the genius physicist has a net worth of 70 million dollars. (ehh, he’ll do fine without the 100k)

Penny: The Successful Star
It might have been Penny’s dream of becoming rich, famous, and an actor which was crushed in the Big Bang Theory but the actor playing Penny has been doing just fine. Kaley Cuoco played the hot-girl-next door for nearly a decade on the Big Bang Theory. Her cheeky character earned her a loaded amount of money and made her immortal in the minds of the audience.
Guaranteed Penny wasn’t like the rest of her Big Bang Theory counter-parts working in the science field. But her sarcasm, wittiness and ability to be unbothered with pretty much everything she didn’t like won the audience over. Not to mention, Penny was the only person who Sheldon Cooper had no control over and at times had to surrender to her will as well. So, therefore Cuoco taking what’s rightfully hers just like Jim Parsons took in a $900,000 per episode of the series. And just like Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco is doing really well for herself. With an acting career of 20 years under her name, she has a net worth of $55 Million and is one of the most recognised faces in the industry. (Way to girl!)
Well, now we have a reason to believe that maybe a few years down the line we might just get a Big Bang Theory Season 13 after all. It might be hard to say no to that much amount of money.
