Are Sheldon and Missy twins in real life?
Sheldon and Missy aren’t twins in real life. Though both Iain Armitage (Sheldon Cooper) and Raegan Revord (Missy Cooper) are both 12-years-old. Unlike his character Sheldon, Ian in real life is an only child. He has acknowledged how great it is to work on ‘Young Sheldon’. He also added how he now feels that he and his on-screen twin sister, Raegan Revord, are just like real siblings.

In an interview with MEAWW, Raegan Revord also talked about her bond with on-screen twin Iain Armitage. She said:
“We have so many things in common! We both love our stuffies, musicals, animals, rocks. When we aren’t filming, the stage becomes like a big playground for us. We have so much fun together.”
Raegan also added how she thinks Sheldon is book smart while Missy is more street smart. So, they complement each other very well.
On-screen Missy is the absolute opposite of Sheldon. She is street smart, has a sense of humour, and enjoys annoying her twin brother, Sheldon. Most of the time, she has to fight for her parent’s attention because she isn’t as gifted as Sheldon. So, at times she plays a hand in alleviating Sheldon’s misery. Whenever Sheldon feels low, Missy always tries to make him feel better. Once she also helped him win the student body president debate.
