Tennis star, Serena Williams, is facing a fine of $10,000. And this is the consequence of allegedly damaging the practice courts at London with her racquet.
The host of Wimbledon tournament, All England Club, were the ones who fined to Serena Williams. She, reportedly, caused damaged to the court during a practice round on 30 June, as reported by The Associated Press and CNN.

But Williams, 37, is shrugging off the fine, “I haven’t really thought about it, to be honest. I just threw my racquet. I got fined.”
Was it right to fine Serena William for $10,000?
In fact, the seven-time-winner of Wimbledon title has next to no clue how that could have caused any damage whatsoever. “I mean, I guess if you could tell me, I would appreciate it. I mean, I have always been an Avenger in my heart. Maybe I’m super strong. I don’t know.”
Serena Williams is toiling for her eighth title at Wimbledon. if she makes it, it would be her 24th grand slam title.
Another fine is not fine
This is not the first time that Serena Williams has got fined. Last year, she had to pay $17,000 during the US Open. This was the result of defending herself against an umpire who had accused her of communicating with her coach during an ongoing match.
Recently, Serena Williams appeared on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar in a bold and un-retouched look.
