The tennis star will be playing opposite Casper Ruud who is the son of the player that was a part of Roger’s debut French Open.
On Wednesday Federer made it to the third round of Roland Garros. He will now be up against Caser Rudd – a 20-year-old tennis player who is the son of a player who was a part of the 1999 French Open- the same grand slam through which Federer made his debut.

Casper Ruud’s father, Christian Ruud, reached Roland Garros’ third round in 1999 when Federer was just 17-years-old.
Federer won against world number 144, Oscar Otte, by 6-4, 6-3, 6-4 to reach the third round for the 15th time.
