The Big Bang Theory has been unfair to Penny
The Big Bang Theory is known for popularising the worst of society’s prejudices.
The sitcom operates on a simple premise: an attractive wannabe-actress, Penny (Kaley Cuoco), moves across the hall from two socially inept scientists, Leonard Hofstadter (Johnny Galecki) and Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons), with the regular appearance of their two friends, Rajesh Koothrappali (Kunal Nayyar) and Howard Wolowitz (Simon Helberg).
The treatment that Penny received was more prejudiced than the other female characters in The Big Bang Theory. She was represented as a girl who often acted submissively, laughs at the boss’s jokes, and has very little ambition.

This made her a non-threatening female worker who performs the traditional female role of comforting men. Amy, without appreciating Penny’s valuable traits, once commented, that Penny, “would fetch a unicorn” just because she is beautiful. She was often devalued for having no worth other than her attractiveness.
For quite a while, the only point of reference to her was in terms of her looks and hotness. After six seasons she still doesn’t have a last name! But we can’t blame Big Bang for stereotyping because most comedies work by exaggerating the common social ideas.

They take jibe on society by mocking social norms. But our Penny is not satisfied with this sort of reasoning and will deliver a mini-genius in the 13th season of The Big Bang Theory to take revenge on all those mocking and hurling jokes on her.
Pregnant Penny delivers a mini-Sheldon on The Big Bang Theory Season 13
After 12 seasons, Penny may finally take a sigh of relief in season 13. Justice will prevail when Penny will deliver her baby on season 13 and there will be a jump in the timeline where her kid will be of the same age as Young Sheldon. The mini chap of Penny will then give a hard time to the great genius Sheldon Cooper.
Young Sheldon is also doing great like The Big Bang Theory. It is left to be seen whether Penny’s kid will be able to pull the 13th season of The Big Bang Theory with the same success. Who knows, there might be a Young Sheldon versus Penny’s mini-Sheldon on CBS network.
Release date updates of The Big Bang Theory Season 13
The Big Bang Theory was cancelled because Jim Parsons (who plays Sheldon Cooper) was too bored to go for another season. Everyone except him was on board to do another instalment of the hugely acclaimed series. Kaley Cuoco, who plays Penny on the show, has often said that she is ready to do a season 13 of The Big Bang Theory any day.
Rumour mills are churning stories that Chuck Lorre (the showmaker) is convinced with the future plot featuring Penny’s baby Sheldon. There’s no official confirmation on the renewal of The Big Bang Theory for season 13 but CBS and Chuck are willing to do it. They might not need Jim Parsons now as we may have Penny’s toddler to fill in the shoe of Sheldon Cooper.
