Do you miss the 90s and its many arcade games? Do you look upto games when you are bored? Then this event is meant for you!
PAX West 2019 is ready to rock the world yet again. Coming to Seattle from 30 August to 2 September, it is already creating a frenzy among fans.

The word ‘arcade’ kicks in a nostalgia doesn’t it? Well, it was the same for a group of people at Penny Arcade in 2004. They decided and came together to put up a show exclusively for gaming. We see the world is packed up comic con and anime exclusive shows. But not just that, there are many such meets and shows that span all around the world and quench the nerdiness among their fans. But what about games?
Let the games begin
A dearth of such a show led to the making of PAX West (formerly PAX Prime). It was an event focused only on the gaming community. What started out as a 45,000-people meet in Seattle, is now drawing tens of thousands of attendees. (In fact, so much so that in 2010 the show had to be extended to Boston because it was flooded with people). So now these events that take place in Seattle and Boston are the two largest one in North America.
Now the show is back in town for 2019. Penny Arcade’s PAX West 2019 is going to be bigger, better and grander. (Rush in to buy the tickets here; for some days they are already sold out!) Recent years have roped in more AAA games to the show. This, in turn, has enhanced the presence of PAX West.
While it is almost impossible to cover all the details of the event, here are five of the games that would be featuring in the show:
Games such as Cyberpunk 2077, Final Fantasy VII Remake, and Marvel’s Avengers will receive special presentations at PAX West 2019
Boyfriend Dungeon

The PC game by Kitfox Games is yet to declare a release date. The game features a unique blend of two very mismatched genres. The task is to descend into the depths of a labyrinth to look for greater resources and loot. But to face off the threats, one will require to bond with NPCs on the surface, these transform into weapons inside the dungeon. In fact, the more you use a particular weapon, the stronger your connection will be.
Final Fantasy VII: Remake

This PS4 game by Square-Enix is probably the most famous game in its series. It will be released on 3 March 2020. Fans had been pinning for a remake for years now. And here it is! The game though will not stick to its classic vibes. Square-Enix has opted for tweaking it up a bit with modern standards.
Cyberpunk 2077

The much-awaited Cyberpunk 20177 is less than a year away. The game is all set to launch on 16 April, 2022. It will make its big splash at PAX West 2019. But if you are a die-hard fan of the game and unable to attend the event, you don’t need to be there to catch a glimpse of the game’s progress. The studio will stream new Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay for everyone to see.
Everspace 2

Everspace 2 is a step up to the 2017 hit game. Revealed at Gamescom 2019, this game blends space combat with roguelike elements. While death is inevitable in the game, resources from a previous run can be carried forward in the next one. Moreover, this game by Rockfish Studios is expected to release in 2021.
Marvel’s The Avengers

After the Avengers‘ movies created a frenzy among Marvel fans, now they are to be treated with a game! The game set in the Marvel universe has been at the center of many questions after it was showcased at E3 2019.
In the game, the gamer will have to build a team in a post superhero world. It already sounds interesting, doesn’t it? So, after you have chosen your team of Avengers, you take on missions that lead up some large scale fights. These fights, in turn, offer loot and gateways to power.
So, are you all pumped up for PAX West 2019? Book your tickets and get ready to dive into a world of games.
