Twitterati leaves no room for even the slightest of mistakes. And they caught a huge one this time when a Pakistani anchor mixed up Apple Inc with the fruit during a live telecast. Later, the blunder came to light after she was given away by another journalist, Nalia Inayat. Inayat was the one who posted the video.
The Pakistani anchor can be seen in discussion with a panelist when she ends up making the mix up of technology and fruit
The whole discussion was planned around Pakistan’s financial conditions. And the confusion came alive when the panelist said, “Alone Apple’s business amounts to more than the whole of Pakistan’s annual budget”.
And the anchor confusing the technology with the apple fruit replied, “Yes sir, I have heard there are copious varieties of apples and the business is quite big.” Whoops!
Undoubtedly, the panelist was taken aback when he corrected her, “I am talking about the Apple company, not the fruit”.
How could Twitter ever let it go so easily? The Pakistani anchor was trolled till Twitter was all flooded with it.
