September 18 saw an official Rambo Day celebration in various US cities ahead of the release of the latest movie in the franchise.
It was indeed high time to honour the franchise (Rambo) that became a household name of the 80s and 90s, with a special day. With a new movie coming up in the series, an official day was observed to honour the iconic series. The latest installment of the franchise, Rambo: Last Blood, will hit the theaters on 20 September 2019.

While the movie is yet to hit the silver screen, John Rambo got the ultimate honour. All thanks to an official Rambo day set out for the iconic character! Celebrations took place in several cities over the United States on September 18. (In fact, one unique event included a movie marathon of the legendary series)
The character central to the franchise has been an icon of pop culture for 37 years now. So, the official Rambo Day was a celebration of the robust character filled with special events and various ceremonies. But above all, the day featured various promotions for the latest movie.
No man, no law, no war can stop him
One of the most iconic action franchises of all times, ‘Rambo’ features an ex-Green Beret who is haunted by memories of Vietnam, has freed POWs and liberated missionaries in Myanmar.
Carrying forward the action-packed series, Lionsgate and Millennium Films will release ‘Rambo: Last Blood’ couple of days after Rambo Day, on 20 September. In fact, this movie will mark the last chapter of the iconic series. Rambo must confront his past and unearth his ruthless combat skills for one final mission.
Apart from Sylvester Stallone, the movie also stars Paz Vega, Yvette Monreal, and Adriana Barraza and is directed by Adrian Grunberg.
Only time will tell how the upcoming ‘Rambo: Last Blood’ would turn out to be. But undoubtedly, the marketing team is going the extra mile for promoting the movie (a special Rambo Day!)
