Tom Cruise was spotted in an Iron Man suit
New pictures that have surfaced on the internet supports the theory that Tom Cruise will portray a variation of Marvel‘s legendary superhero Iron Man aka Tony Stark in Benedict Cumberbatch‘s upcoming ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’.
In one of the pictures, we can see Tom in a goatee and in another picture, he was seen wearing some sort of a mechanical armour suit in front of a green screen.

‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ attempts to contain the consequences of his multiverse-fracturing spell in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home‘. With Marvel’s introduction of the multiverse and variants, many actors are slated to play variations of well-known characters that have already been on screen. Tom is set to make a cameo in the film and his choice could be a tribute to the fact that he was one of the first actors to be considered for the role nearly two decades ago before Robert Downey Jr. was cast as Iron Man.
Not all fans, however, are convinced that the photos are real. A Twitter user shared the new photos with older photos of Josh Brolin as Thanos and Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange from the sets of prior MCU films, demonstrating how similar the two actors were.

The user captioned the pictures as,
Another Twitter user wrote, “If this is your proof that Tom Cruise is in Doctor Strange 2, then I think it’s safe to say you’ll believe anything”.
However, many people believe the photos are genuine, owing to the fact that many people also thought Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire’s photos from ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ were fakes. However, they turned out to be real in the end, and both actors starred in the film as their own versions of Spider-Man.
There have been many speculations around Tom Cruise donning the Iron Man suit, however, we haven’t received any confirmation on the same as of yet.
