The man behind PNB scam is not being taken lightly by London Court
Nirav Modi, the man behind the PNB scam in India, was arrested on 20 March. Thereafter, the UK put him in Her Majesty’s Prison Wandsworth. In addition to housing Nirav Modi- it is well-known as the largest prison in Western Europe.
Following his arrest, he applied for bail many times. Undoubtedly, four isn’t his lucky number either. As a result, bail was denied to him for the fourth time on Wednesday.

While he was arrested as a result of India’s extradition request, Nirav Modi asserted that he arrived in the UK way before he was accused of the crime.
But during the course of hearing, the judge said that there was “compelling evidence” regarding efforts made to “interfere with witness statements” in addition to the destruction of evidence.
“I have concluded that there is compelling evidence that they have sought to interfere with witness statements and evidence,” said the Judge.
