One such possibility recently got addressed by Jared Leto, who has taken up the role of vampire anti-hero from Spider-Man comics, ‘Morbius’, in the movie of the same name. He expressed his humble desire to share the screen with Tom Holland in the future.

What Did Jared Leto Say About Crossover with Spider-Man?
Jared Leto recently attended this year’s Critic’s Choice Awards, an annual award ceremony hosted by the American-Canadian Critics Choice Association. On the red carpet, he spoke with Entertainment Tonight about the possibility of a Morbius and Spider-Man crossover with Tom Holland.
When asked if Peter Parker made a cameo in his film ‘Morbius’, he stated that he would love to get in the ring and share the screen with Spider-Man and that he thinks Tom Holland is an awesome actor and that the two of them would make a rather dynamic duo.
When asked if he was hinting at already filming with Holland, the ‘Blade Runner: 2049’ actor responded that he is manifesting such a scenario.
The fans are excited as they are speculating a cameo by Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. Since there were cameos by previous Spider-Man(s) Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’, fans are optimistic about seeing more such cameos in future MCU and Sony movies.
What is ‘Morbius’ About?
Dr Michael Morbius, one of Spider-Man’s antagonists in the comics, is the inspiration for the film. He has a rare blood disease that he wishes to cure himself, but things go wrong, and it becomes a curse.
‘Morbius’ stars Jared Leto in the title role. It also includes Michael Keaton, Jared Harris, and several other actors in supporting roles.
Speaking to ET about his role in the film ‘Morbius,’ Jared stated that he believes it is a unique, never-before-seen take on the Marvel Universe. Because Dr Michael Morbius is a new character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Jared is excited to share it with the audience with the release.
Other Speculations by the Marvel Fans
Fans are also speculating on a future crossover between Jared Leto’s Morbius and Tom Hardy’s hilarious Venom, as both are Spider-Man comic book villains. It’s also possible that Andrew Garfield’s ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ will return, and Morbius and Venom will devise a plan to take down Sony’s take on the friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man. However, these are all speculative claims made by fans of the comics and movies. Nonetheless, it would be a badass sight to see Andrew Garfield reprise his role as Spider-Man in his film, fighting Jared Leto’s Morbius and Tom Hardy’s Venom. It could be the perfect recipe for reviving ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ films. It might also be a good opportunity for Sony to profit.
