‘Gilmore Girls’ is an American series which follows the much-loved mother-daughter pair, Lorelai and Rory Gilmore.
Nearly nine years after the original series ended, Netflix took over to produce a ‘Gilmore Girls’ miniseries. Lorelai is played by Lauren Graham meanwhile Alexis Bledel essays the role of Rory Gilmore.

Things turn bleak as Logan is already engaged and Rory finds it difficult to stay apart from him. On the other hand, Rory’s mother Lorelai is in a live-in relationship with Luke but they lack communication.
Lorelai resurrects her life
At this time, Richard has died of a heart attack, which causes a strain in Lorelai and Emily’s relationship. The two then enroll themselves for a joint therapy to even tensions out.
Lorelai, then, plans a trip to California to hike the Pacific Crest trail with an intention to rekindle her life.
But, during her excursion, she has an epiphany. She decides to settle her rift with Emily by reciting a pleasant story about Richard and heads back home to propose to Luke.
Later on, Emily auctions her Gilmore mansion and shifts to Nantucket, where she starts working at a local museum.

Rory scripts her own book
Motivation from Jess has inspired Rory to write her own book titled the ‘Gilmore Girls’. Subsequently, Lorelai and Luke get hitched and that’s when Rory tells her mother that she is pregnant.
What fans want from ‘Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life’ Season 2?
The question still looms over Rory’s pregnancy. After all, whose child is Rory pregnant with? Is it Logan’s or is it someone else’s? Fans believe that this unanswered question necessitates the renewal of the series for a second season.
However, no confirmation has been received from the showmakers or the network about their decision on the renewal yet.
Needless to say, fans won’t give up in their demand that easily. It is one of the most-watched shows on Television and continues to cheer its audiences across generations with its relatable content.
