Millie Bobby Brown has signed up for a new age ‘Stanger Things’ – and this time she’ll collaborate with Russo Brothers. Well, not exactly the ‘Avengers Endgame’ sort of endgame and not really the Upside Down kind of ‘Stranger Things’ either. But reports suggest that something is cooking between Eleven and Avengers’ directors, a new movie, which has time travel and is also strange. Let’s find out what it exactly is.

Millie Bobby Brown in the ‘Endgame’ now with Russo Brothers, are they making a new ‘Stranger Things’?
Millie Bobby Brown signs a new ‘Stranger Things’ with Russo Brothers
The ‘Stranger Things’ sensation Millie Bobby Brown was last seen in Netflix’s ‘Enola Holmes’. In ‘Enola Holmes’, she played the smarter sister of Sherlock Holmes (Henry Cavill). Currently, she’s back in the superhuman character of Eleven. Millie is currently filming for season 4 of ‘Stranger Things’, which resumed production in October after a long break due to the pandemic restrictions.

The latest report by “Deadline” suggests that Millie Bobby Brown has signed a new movie with ‘The Avengers’ directors Russo Brothers. The movie, to be titled ‘The Electric State’, will be a sci-fi film based on the graphic novel of the same name by Simon Stålenhag. The report also states that Universal Pictures has acquired the rights of the adaptation after a “heated bidding war”.
Russo Brothers to direct ‘The Electric State’
Russo Brothers, the director of ‘Avengers Endgame’, ‘Avengers Infinity War’, and Netflix’s ‘Extraction’, will be directing ‘The Electric State’, starring Millie Bobby Brown. Writers of the two Avengers movies, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, will also be writing the script for this one.
Russo Brothers said in a statement reported by “Variety”:
“We’re thrilled to have this deal with Universal who has committed to a theatrical release of ‘Electric State.’ This is incredible news for us as filmmakers, and for audiences around the world who want an opportunity to experience films in theatres again. This is also a positive sign that, as vaccines become available, the theatrical market is returning.”
A “Strange but Sweet” Robot from the future
The Russo Brother directed movie will centre around a teenage girl, obviously played by Millie Bobby Brown. The movie adapted from the graphic novel “The Electric State” will be set in an alternate future.
The girl will realize that the strange but sweet robot she finds was actually sent by her missing brother. The girl and the robot will set out on the search for her brother in an imaginative world of humans and robots. A world full of stranger things and conspiracies will unfold on their way to find him.
While Russo Brothers have been developing this project since 2017, with Universal Pictures, Millie Bobby Brown, and the writers on board now, ‘The Electric State’ is surely happening soon. How excited are you? Tell us in the comments below.
