One of the greatest Formula One racers, Michael Schumacher, got in a skiing accident that led to brain injuries in December 2013. Since then, there had been rare updates on his health and it seems this will continue
Any news on Michael Schumacher health update makes his fans tune in. But there is practically none it seems. With some rare comments from friends on how is the F1 legend recovering, nothing else seems to see the light of the day.
But more recently, his long term manager, Sabine Kehm, spoke something about Michael Schumacher’s health recovery
Well, according to her, the thin quantity of health updates on Michael Schumacher will continue. They are been closely guarded. Though she did not disclose the reasons, she said she understands the fans’ plight.
In Sabine Kem’s own words, “Michael’s health is not a public issue, so we will not comment on it, if only because we need to protect Michael’s privacy as much as possible.”
Sabine Kem was very sensitive to fans’ feelings when she said that Michael Schumacher health updates are not a public issue. Furthermore, she added, “We realise that this is difficult for some people to understand, but we do so in perfect accordance with Michael’s attitude and can only thank you for being understanding.”
This is not the first time that the manager has talked about the iconic racer’s privacy. It was earlier in September that Michael’s manager said the star was always pretty private about his personal life.
A Living Legend
The widely acclaimed racer is the only driver in the history of Formula One to have won seven World Championships. In fact, he won five of these titles consecutively. But that is not all! If you were to check the Formula One website, it describes Michael Schumacher as “the most successful driver in the sport’s history.”
But every good thing comes to an end, doesn’t it? Schumacher retired in 2006 only to come back in 2010. And finally retired in 2012. Who knows, if it were not for the traumatic head injury, he would have come back for a third inning.
Stay tuned for more updates on Michael Schumacher health recovery.
