And without Sheldon Cooper, around who the major plot of all episodes from Season one and episode one have been centred wasn’t returning- it was time to say goodbye to Penny, Leonard, Raj, Amy, Howard and Bernadette too.
But they left with a promise that a revival was and always will be an option for The Big Bang Theory until the audience is there to welcome them back.

Ryan Murphy received the footage of Jim Parsons dance sequence in the series that Parsons had choreographed himself while Murphy was working with none other than Meryl Streep on a project.
