But the last time we heard of it, it was the co-creator Rob Liefeld in an interview with Collider, telling us that Deadpool 3 might never happen, and he might not be a part of it if it ever happens.
However, with some latest reports about Deadpool 3, we can still believe Deadpool is heading towards MCU. Moreover, he might be the biggest hero ever in the MCU with Reynolds grabbing the biggest deal from Marvel and Disney.

In December 2017, it was announced that the Fox will be acquired by Disney. The merger was completed by March 2019. This meant, the long-dead dream of fans to see the return of all the Fox acquired Marvel characters in MCU was going to come true. Fans freaked out when in December 2019, Ryan Reynolds announced that Deadpool 3 was finally in development under Marvel.
Cut to – climax of the year 2020, and we have no updates on the movie. A good amount of credits goes to the pandemic delays. However, the fans can finally rejoice as Daniel Richtman, the insider we all trust, has reported that Marvel wants to sign the biggest MCU deal in history with Reynolds.

The biggest deal means, bigger than Chris Evans’ 6-movie-deal; bigger than even Samuel L. Jackson and Sebastian Stan’s 9-movie-deal in MCU.

The future of the MCU might well be in Deadpool’s hand rather than Captain Marvel or Thor. Because while the biggest deal of MCU might mean billions of dollars for Ryan, it also means several Deadpool movies and several appearances of Deadpool in other MCU movies.
While Deadpool 3 might introduce Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) into the MCU, his existence can stretch for much longer than those of Iron Man or Captain America.

The report from the insider Daniel Richtman, covered by comicbook.com states: “The salary report comes from scooper Daniel Richtman. He says Feige and Disney are hoping to lock down a massive deal for Reynolds. Not only is this deal said to result in the most money for the actor. But there’s reason to believe such a massive contract will include several appearances by the fan-favorite talent.”
While nothing is yet made official by Marvel, Disney, or even Ryan Reynolds, but if this happens, then God help whoever comes in the way of MCU.
