Marvel brings Ultraman to their universe. Ultraman (is a Japanese pop culture icon in case you haven’t crossed paths with the character yet) might prove to be a threat to the Avengers. The announcement of the collaboration was made at the Tokyo Comic Con leaving fans in a frenzy. Marvel Entertainment is joining hands to pen down Ultraman comics with Tsuburaya Productions.

Marvel Brings Ultraman, Where Does That Leave The Avengers?
Born in the 1960s in Japan, Ultraman’s journey to success took off almost instantly. So much so, that he got various spinoffs (including a Netflix series) in his name. But, how then, can Ultraman be a threat to the Marvel’s Avengers? Well, the answer is all in the numbers.

Within two decades, from 1966 to 1987, Ultraman became a brand and swept in $7.5 billion merchandise revenue! (As of the 21st century, that would mean $16 billion).

But on the other hand, as Marvel brings Ultraman, there is a huge scope for his rise as the 21st-century superhero. Also, standing 40 meters tall, Ultraman would make Iron Man, Hulk (and even Thanos) look like man-childs. (And 40 meters isn’t even the tallest Ultraman height).
