In 2014, Kingsman upped the ante on the super-secret-agent genre. Taron Egerton (Eggsy) and Colin Firth (Harry) took out their umbrellas to shoot down terrorists in style. Now, Eggsy and Harry are coming back with Kingsman 3 which will have some mind-blowing James-Bond-style action.
Most of the tabloids are saying that Kingsman 3 will be the end of Eggsy and Harry’s relationship — but we believe it is a story for a much later sequel to the movie. Fans are not ready (and probably will never be ready) to let go of this mentor-mentee relationship.
Kingsman 3 will hit the theaters in 2021.

The next Kingsman movie is all set to release on 14 February 2020. This third installment in the secret intelligence agency storyline is, in fact, a walk back in time. Fans will get a taste of the history of Kingsman organisation in ‘The King’s Man’. Sadly, the fans will not get a glimpse of their favourite Harry and Eggsy in this prequel. But the next in the series (which is being called Kingsman 3) has big plans for them.

When Matthew Vaughn gave a glimpse
Matthew Vaughn — who is Kingsman’s franchise director — dropped a few hints about Harry and Eggsy’s relationship in Kingsman 3. While his quote was majorly focused on the upcoming prequel, there were glimpses of Harry and Eggsy’s future movies in the action-packed series.
The interview dates back to May 2019 when the Kingsman prequel was pushed to a February 14 release. Vaughn told that Taron was “looking forward to becoming Eggsy again because emotionally it’s a lot less draining.”
Vaughn soon dropped the bomb about the Kingsman 3 movie and what it has in store for Eggsy and Harry’s relationship. “We’ve got to finish off the Eggsy and Harry relationship,” he revealed.
Kingsman 3 is still raw in the thoughts of makers.
Director Matthew Vaughn might have given a ‘statement’, but that statement will change as soon as the production begins. In the same interview, the director also pointed out that Kingsman 3 will commence in early 2020 so that everything is wrapped up and ready to launch in 2021.
There will be a Kingsman 4
No, Kingsman 3 will not (and cannot) be the end of Harry and Eggsy’s relationship. Instead, the end will be further delayed to Kingsman 4 (or maybe even later).
The prequel of Kingsman (that will release on 14 February) is being termed by many as a huge risk for the franchise. Yes, the trailer is a treat for the fans. But by the time Kingsman 3 hits the theaters, the fans might lose touch with the main storyline. In a way, it will be a test of fans’ faith in the Kingsman franchise.
The film series, that is based on Mark Millar’s comic series ‘The Secret Service’, became a whopping success thanks to fans. But if the makers decide to end Harry and Eggsy’s relationship in Kingsman 3, they will be stretching fans’ trust too far. To keep their magical success going, the makers need to at least put two more movies in the pipeline before they even think of ending Harry and Eggsy’s relationship. Don’t you agree?
