Kim Kardashian’s latest shapewear, SKIMS, is a result of her unsatisfied past experiences
Yes, it seems Kim could never find a perfect piece. The ‘Keeping up with the Kardashians’ star told People, “I use shapewear as a solution to my styling needs. I always wanted something that would smooth, and sometimes not necessarily change my shape. When I wear sheer garments, I used my shapewear to line things like jumpsuits and gowns.”
So, if you are a multi-millionaire who doesn’t like the way shapewear fits on you, what do you do? You create a whole new line! So did Kim Kardashian when she launched her latest shapewear line, SKIMS.

Can you imagine being so obsessed about something with so much dedication that you would leave no stone unturned to meet the desired results?
Kim Kardashian’s love for shapewear clearly dictates through her words, “When I would wear a gown or skirt with a slit, I would cut one leg off, but it would roll-up. I still needed support everywhere else, and I never felt like I was getting that.” So, the one-legged idea was Kim Kardashian’s motivation behind her latest shapewear, SKIMS.
Who knew Kim Kardashian had a hidden passion for perfection of shapewear! “I would create my own shapewear all the time to be my solutions for things. I feel like I’ve been designing shapewear for 15 years. I’m so proud of the line. I’m so proud of the fabric. I made things that haven’t really been made before.”
