Recently members of Entertainment Journalists’ Guild of India came to the decision of boycotting Kangana Ranaut. This was a result of her spat with journalist, Justin Rao. The Guild had asked the actress to make a public apology or else she would be boycotted from any media coverage.
And so they did.
Now, an irritated Kangana Ranaut has slapped the Guild with a legal notice over “wrongful” boycott
Later, after the boycott, Kangana Ranaut released this video through her sister and manager’s Twitter account. In fact, she claimed that this guild is fake and was created a few days ago only to defame her.
Afterwards, Rangoli Chandel wrote a series of tweets to the Guild threatening them with a court summons if they do not explain their actions.
The sisters served a legal notice to the Entertainment Journalists’ Guild of India and Press Club of India. As per the notice served by Kangana Ranaut, the Guild does not own any legal standing as a registered body. Moreover, it quoted that the Press Club is the meeting point for journalists. The notice then allowed these organizations 24 hours so that they could “rectify all wrong so committed.” Or else Kangana would take necessary actions.
But no replies have made have seen the light of the day as of now. Kangana Ranaut’s sister cum manager is now warning the organisation of their fate.
