It is quite a huge coincidence that within two weeks of the famous Gal Gadot and Brie Larson pictures, the latter is apparently mulling a move to DCEU. Whether the Wonder Woman actress was an influence on the Captain Marvel actress or not, it seems Brie Larson might move to the DC Universe.

If reports are to be believed, the Captain Marvel actress is ready to let go of MCU— the platform that made her the lead actress in their first-ever female standalone project.
Brie Larson’s future role in DCEU
We Got This Covered reported that Warner Brothers are eyeing Brie Larson for a DCEU role of Lady Blackhawk. According to the report, as of now, Brie Larson could be launched as Lady Blackhawk either in a stand-alone movie or as a part of Black Adam movie which will launch the Justice Society of America and move on to bring her to the limelight.

DCEU’s Blam Adam which is a spin-off to ‘Shazam!’ is set to release on 22 December 2021. Interestingly, the movie is based on the anti-hero of Shazam. Dwayne Johnson will take the lead of Black Adam’s cast.
Is the Captain Marvel actress ready to axe her career in MCU?
First things first—disclaimer: Brie is not the only actress being considered for the role. But the chances of Brie Larson changing her superhero cape are high with a pinch of circumstantial. Over the short span that she has been part of Marvel, Brie Larson has piled up various reasons that irk fans into not liking her. Things went so far that some of these fans put a petition asking Brie Larson to step down as Captain Marvel.
While the actress has sailed through all the criticism with poise, it would not be shocking if she decides to call it quits on MCU. Despite the negative criticism from fans, Brie Larson is at the peak of her career with a billion-dollar movie and future projects lined up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Brie Larson is already a part of at least three projects in MCU— Captain Marvel 2, Disney Plus’ Ms. Marvel, and Avengers 5. She is vacuum-booked for the next 2 years.
