Prime Minister Narendra Modi was recently in Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh for the flagship annual investor meeting. American billionaire and influential global investor Ray Dalio praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi as “one of the best” leaders in the world. Ray further took it to his official Twitter account to laud the Prime Minister. In a series of his tweets, he said, “In my opinion, Indian Prime Minister Modi is one of the best, if not the best, leaders in the world.”
Billionaire Ray Dalio founder is the co-chairman and co-chief investment officer of Bridgewater Associates. After Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s keynote address, Ray conducted an on-stage discussion at the Future Investment Initiative (FII) event. Also referred to as the “Davos in the Desert”, the event draws high profile participants including political leaders from various countries.

The Bridgewater Associates founder posted a video on Twitter of his discussion with PM Narendra Modi.
Dalio tweeted “I had an opportunity to explore with him how he thinks as well as what he thinks.” The hedge fund billionaire Ray Dalio quizzed Modi about his meditation and his thought process.
Meditation and Narendra Modi
PM Modi responded by saying that meditation plays a vital role in having balanced thoughts and a balanced life throwing the right view of the world. He added by saying that a cause of struggles and true thinking can help in finding a way out of conflicts.
Dalio praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for doing many remarkable things in India.
Narendra Modi’s Geopolitical accomplishments
Ray complimented PM Modi’s geopolitical ability and said that he is not representing the poor or the rich neither just one faction in relationship to another, he has joined the country together. Narendra Modi has made tremendous accomplishments.
In the next tweet, he added, “You have brought something like 500 million toilets and you have brought water and you will bring water to all of those people and you are changing their wellbeing in a united way. Narendra Modi is creating an economy that is making a great deal of progress for all of the people in a broader way.
The co-chairman of Bridgewater Associates Ray Dalio expressed on Twitter that how he is “impressed” by Narendra Modi’s ability to bring together Indians by “helping the full range of people, from those who are in abject poverty to rich business leaders.”
Moody’s ranking
His tweets came on the day when rating agency Moody’s downgraded India’s rating from ‘stable’ to ‘negative,’ citing risks to economic growth partly due to lower government and policy effectiveness.
Dalio ended the discussion by thanking the prime minister for the talk and for what he was doing as a leader of India.
