Is Harry Styles out of the next James Bond race post Craig?
James Bond created by Ian Fleming is one of the greatest fictional characters of all time. With ‘No Time To Die’ to be the 25th film of the James Bond movie under Eon films since 1962, it stays the longest-running and one of the biggest movie franchises of all time.
However, every few years, there comes a time when a new James Bond replaces the slightly older one. The last time it happened in 2006 for ‘Casino Royale’, when Daniel Craig took up the duty of the spy from ‘Die Another Day’ James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan. Now, after four movies i.e. ‘Casino Royale’, ‘Quantum of Solace’, ‘Skyfall’, ‘Spectre’, in Craig’s kitty as Bond, and soon to be added ‘No Time To Die’, it’s time for a new Bond.
A dozen of fan-favorite British actors have been rumored to be in the race till now. Some of the names speculated to replace Craig as James Bond are Henry Cavill, Tom Hardy, Harry Styles, James Norton, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, etcetera.
However, Harry Styles has recently confirmed that he is not in the race to be the next Bond, and we are broken.
Harry was almost the winner – claimed reports.
The One Direction crooner made his acting debut with Christopher Nolan’s war epic ‘Dunkirk’ in 2017. Since then, the fans of the young heartthrob are waiting to see him on the big screen again.

While Harry Styles was considered a contender to be the next James Bond after Craig since the beginning of this debate. One of the recent reports from The Sun gave too much weight to the speculations and almost confirmed the actor’s probabilities of playing the British spy.
The UK based tabloid claimed Harry Styles met with the bosses for the role of James Bond. Some reports also claimed that Harry was confident that he is among the final two. Even the odds of Harry getting the role were slashed from 100/1 to 25/1.
While the reports claimed to have a reliable source of information, they have been proved wrong.
Not True – claimed Harry’s representatives.
While one of the most popular singers in the current times, Harry Styles has always been at the top of the race to be James Bond after Craig retires. As previously claimed by various reports, the creators of James Bond movies are willing to take a young and new world route with the new Bond. And Harry fitted the persona precisely.
But amid the Sun’s reports, the representative of Harry has rubbished all such speculations and rumors. When Daily Mail reached Harry Styles’ rep, they stated that the reports ‘aren’t even remotely true’. So if the reports aren’t even ‘remotely’ true, then it means Harry isn’t probably under the creator’s consideration.
This does break some hearts after believing in the possibilities for so long. However, it does not rule out all the possibilities. We must wait and watch if Harry Styles comes any closer to be the next James Bond after Craig. If not, let’s see who gets lucky with one of the biggest roles of all time.
