Later, the woman filed a complaint against Thanwani after she was beaten up by the MLA for raising her voice in protest for the problem of water scarcity in the area.

While initially, he claimed he did so in self-defense, after much criticism from all, the BJP MLA apologized.
Balram said, “I got swayed by emotions and I accept the mistake. It was not intentional. I have been in politics for the last 22 years and such a thing has never happened before. I will say sorry to her.”
Slapped her like a brother would?!
This was not the end of the story.
The tables completely turned when by Monday afternoon Tejwani was shown sitting alongside the BJP MLA, tying rakhi on his wrist.
