It has been 25 years since the iconic comedy series that left everyone laughing so hard that we were gasping for breath, first aired.
“I’ll be there for you,” did you sing the line? An entire generation is comprised of unflinching staunch fans of the iconic comedy series, Friends. Even after 25 years since Rachel, Ross, Monica, Chandler, Joey, and Phoebe flagged the sitcom, fans still haven’t forgotten them. And neither has Google. Google has now gone quirky as it honours the 90s sitcom Friends.
Have you spotted all the ‘Friends’ Easter Eggs hidden all over Google?

Well, you do not need to go too deep into Google to search for Friends Easter Eggs. One can simply search the names of the main characters and hunt the information panel. (Or read through to find them faster)
The first episode of Friends premiered on 22 September 1994
Ross Geller
Google has cleverly trolled one of the funniest Ross Geller moments by putting up an animated beige couch in the corner of his Google information panel. A click on the couch will tilt the entire screen right with Geller’s catchphrase in the background “Pivot!” Try here.

Phoebe Buffay
The one thing constant about Phoebe was her iconic song that still rings in many ears. Can you guess it? Yes! “Smelly cat, smelly cat; what are they feeding you?” Google surely knows how close cats are to Phoebe Buffay’s (and her fans’) heart. So, her information panel features a guitar. And once you click it, a black cat appears out of nowhere (and it is smelly). How can we tell it is smelly? Well, go ahead and see for yourselves!

Rachel Green
While most people watched Friends for a good laugh, many came back only for Rachel Green’s amazingly maintained hair. (Still searching how to achieve that!) Google honoured this Friends character with a unique Easter Egg on her information panel- her hairstyle! (which your stylist will try to replicate for you if you ask for ‘The Rachel’). Check out what happens when you click on Friends Rachel’s easter egg here.

Chandler Bing
Google honoured Friends’ Chandler Bing with the one thing he was pretty attached to throughout the series. His Recliner! And if you click the animated recliner, you get a special visit from Chandler and Joey’s roommates. Can you guess who? Find the answer here.

Joey Tribbiani
While he dates a lot of women, there is one thing Joey strictly doesn’t do. “Joey doesn’t share food!” And Google made sure that Friends’ fans remember this detail for eternity. So, his information panel has a slice of pizza. And if you will try to snatch it, Joey Tribbiani will not be happy.

Monica Geller
Google honoured this Friends character by putting her obsession on her information panel – Cleaning! If you will search for her on the search engine, you would come across an animated soap bucket. Click and swipe!
