The New York Giants’ quarterback is no more
Jared Lorenzen played for Kentucky and New York Giants. He had been hospitalized for the past few days as was suffering from kidney and heart issues. But fate was not in his favor as he passed on Wednesday. The quarterback was 38.

Lorenzen had struggled with his weight both during and after his sports career
Jared Lorenzen’s mother, Janet Hermes, announced his death with a heavy heart, “It is with heavy hearts that the family of Jared Lorenzen would like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation for all of your support and prayers over the past six days. We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Jared today, July 3, 2019.”
He was nicknamed “Hefty Lefty” and was famous for his record-setting passing accomplishments and his enormous size. In fact, he weighed more than 300 pounds. Later, in 2015, he was elected to the UK Athletics Hall of Fame.
