Trump reacted on journalist Cokie Roberts’ demise and it was shockingly insensitive brutally inappropriate.
US President Donald Trump has been known to not apply filters when it comes to using words. He is often erratic, impulsive and grossly inappropriate with his choice of both spoken and written words. In fact, he is more in news for his tweets rather than his policies or governance.
But this time his cold-blooded inappropriacy has risen to an all-new level because this time it is subjected towards the dead
Yes, you heard that right!

Cokie Roberts, a veteran American journalist, passed away on Tuesday. She was 75. A prominent political commentator for ABC News, Cokie Roberts was recognised as “Living Legend” by the Library of Congress in 2008.
This gives one an idea of how prolific she was in the world of journalism. Her sad demise made everyone write eulogies.
But while the world was remembering Cokie Roberts and honouring her memories, US President Trump reacted on her demise by saying “she never treated me nicely” before extending his well-wishes to her family.
In a time when condolences and memories pour in, no one could have expected Trump to (mis)use the opportunity to condemn
Trump reacted on Cokie Roberts’ demise while speaking to reporters, “I never met her. She never treated me nicely. But I would like to wish her family well. She was a professional, and I respect professionals. I respect you guys a lot, you people a lot. She was a real professional. Never treated me well, but I certainly respect her as a professional.”
Worlds Apart
But in striking contrast to how Trump reacted on Cokie Roberts’ demise, former US President released a statement on Tuesday. Barack Obama said that she was “a role model to young women at a time when the profession was still dominated by men; a constant over forty years of a shifting media landscape and changing world, informing voters about the issues of our time and mentoring young journalists every step of the way.”
Undoubtedly, the opening remarks of the two US Presidents open up the vast cavity that exists in their personalities (and needless to say, governance).
While instances like these stay embedded and engraved in the hearts and minds of the global audiences, it’s business as usual in Trump tower.
