Julio Urias, Dodgers’ pitcher, has been placed on an administrative leave on Tuesday by Major League Baseball. This decision was taken a day after Urias was arrested on speculation of domestic violence.
On Monday, Urias was arrested with the speculation of “intimate partner battery,” Los Angeles PD spokesperson said. The bail was set at $20,000 and the pitcher was released on Tuesday.
“We have no comment at this time…,” the Dodgers said in a statement. “…every allegation of domestic violence must be taken seriously and addressed promptly, and we will cooperate fully with the authorities…”
