Well, through the current ratings and viewership, it is established Doctor Who Season 12 was a sensational hit. Citing to massive critic and audience approval, Chris Chibnall has called for a Doctor Who Season 13 renewal.
Who will be the cast in Doctor Who Season 13?
Season 13 of Doctor Who will be decked with Jodie Whittaker, Bradley Walsh, Tosin Cole, and Mandip Gill. The show will also cast Graham O’Brien, Ryan Sinclair, and Yasmin Khan.
Chris Chibnall in addition to Vinay Patel, Maxine Alderton, and Pete McTighe will pen down the script for the thirteenth season of Doctor Who. Chris in an interview had admitted that the season after the twelfth will be a more ambitious project, scaling to new heights. He also added that Season 13 will have ‘bigger moments’ and the storyline is expected to move forward.
Jodie Whittaker portraying the ‘Doctor’ in Doctor Who accorded that she is ecstatic to hear the news of season 13’s revival. She has added that she is ‘elated’ to reprise the role of the Doctor, again, in Season 13.

Doctor Who Season 12 is one of the top-rated television series in the UK today. The mystery-thriller spins around Doctor (played by Jodie Whittaker) and her friends who are busy travelling around the space. With TARDIS in hand (a time-travelling booth), the squad is on a mission of shielding lives and Space. Their space odyssey comprises of attacks from the Cybermen, the Timeless Child Mystery and the Daleks.

In the last episode of Doctor Who, the Doctor gets to meet Serbian inventor, Nikola Tesla. The episode is set up in 1903 where Doctor Who and her friends are at the Niagara Falls. Meanwhile, Tesla is ineffectual in getting investors for his wireless power transmission.
One day, after working late mending his generator, Tesla spots a floating orb. Feeling threatened, he tries to run to save his life as a disguised figure shoots at him. Just in the nick of time, the Doctor arrives and helps Tesla escape and board a train to New York City.
Upon reaching NYC, the Doctor and Tesla find protestors demonstrating outside Tesla’s lab insinuated by his competitor Thomas Edison. In a move of defiance, the Doctor, Graham and Ryan visit Edison’s lab, suspecting him to be the man behind the attack on Tesla.
The cloaked figure revisits and fatally electrocutes everybody in the lab. However, the group manages to escape. The Doctor is seen warning Tesla and Yaz, but the two are captured by the enemy forces and transported to an invisible alien ship.

What will happen in Doctor Who Season 13?
In Season 12 we saw that despite the Doctor’s warning, Tesla and Yaz have been captivated by an alien ship. This will be a tip-off for season 13 as season 12 did not have a proper ending. Will the Doctor transport herself onto the ship? Will she be able to save Yaz and Tesla from getting slaughtered by the Queen of Skithra (who the ship belongs)?
[Spoiler]: In season 13, Yaz and Tesla are transported back to Tesla’s Wardenclyffe lab. This indicates they manage to escape unhurt. But the revenge of the Queen doesn’t end there. Infuriated, she threatens the Doctor that if Tesla is not handed over to her, she will destroy the Earth.
That’s when Tesla and the Doctor reach for the TARDIS to help kick-start Tesla’s Wardenclyffe Tower. The Tower charges and electrical bolts strike on Skithra’s ship, causing it to leave the Earth.
But Doctor and the group are faced with a new enemy force. It seems like an unfathomable and formidable force that the Doctor has no idea about. Will they be able to defeat this unknown force all by themselves or will they be aided by external help? To find all the above answers we will have to wait and watch.
