Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are doing the final touches to their wedding preparations. The much-awaited ceremony is going to take place in December. This comes as strikingly romantic since they got engaged on Valentine’s Day this year.
The winsome couple got engaged on 14 February 2019 when Orlando Bloom proposed to the iconic singer. According to Us Weekly, Bloom asked Perry to marry him during a helicopter flight. And now, the two are all set to tie the knot in the next two months.
Marriage is a “big deal”
This will be the second time that Katy Perry will walk down the aisle. And after a failed first marriage, she does not want to rush things. Earlier this year, Katy Perry, 34, confessed that she was in no rush to walk down the aisle for a second time. She believes that tying the knot is a “big deal.”

When asked about her wedding plans, Katy Perry said, “One step at a time” during an interview with Britain’s KISS radio in June. “Definitely trying to lay the good emotional foundation for the lifetime of commitment, which is like a big deal.”
Not only this, Orlando Bloom too was earlier married to model Miranda Kerr. So it is a second take at marriage for both.
