The much-awaited Death Stranding reviews are here and they have left fans confused. Despite a pretty descriptive trailer, it is not easy to point out what Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding is all about.

The reviews for Death Stranding are here and confusing. For some gamers it is a laborious walk through scenic landscapes. But for others it is a new genre in the making that a genius has launched without the push and pulls of corporate upper-hands. If nothing, we sure justified why the reviews for Death Stranding are so confusing.
Death Stranding’s 8-minute-long launch trailer failed to give any clear ideas just like the reviews. Though the trailer sure did give some good music and post-Apocalypse feels.
It is hard to form an opinion unless you play the Kojima Productions game. If you are sans PS4, sadly, Death Stranding PC release date is far away. The game will be live in early summer 2020. Maybe till then we can hope for a more unanimous review for Death Stranding. It was a long wait before, it is a long wait ahead. Only now, it is clouded with confusion and mixed reviews.
What is the game about?
The name of the game comes from an event, Death Stranding, that has wiped out the world in an alternate universe. The protagonist is Sam Porter Bridges played by Norman Reedus. As a courier, Sam (and you), has to deliver packages to restore internet infrastructure in the US. Along the way you have to avoid evil ‘Beached Things’ or simply BTs.
Added to the responsibilities of a ‘postman’ Sam Porter Bridges also carries along with him a small baby. This baby (called a BB) is in an orange bottle that is strapped to Sam’s chest. So, BB is in fact a tool that alerts Sam to BTs. As soon as BB gets scared, it cries. And some critics have complained it to be a pretty annoying cry that shouts through the speakers.
But Death Stranding reviews claim that eventually, one gets used to the cries. In fact, after a time it the BB feels like an integral part of the game. And something feels incomplete whenever BB and Sam are separated in Death Stranding.
