In a recent announcement, DC Universe revealed the release poster for Doom Patrol Season 2. And to further add to the fans’ excitement, DC has also announced a partnership with a newly launched streaming service, that will allow Doom Patrol Season 2 to stream around the world in its full glory.

DC Universe recently released the premiere poster for Doom Petrol Season 2 with the announcement of the release date. And guess what? The new poster has revealed one of the most mysterious characters of the show, Chief’s Daughter, Dorothy. The comic-accurate appearance of Dorothy is chilling and has got fans more pumped up for the new Season.

Dorothy, played by Abigail Shapiro, is known to be one of the most powerful characters in the Doom Patrol universe. Her presence is supposed to take the thrill to the next level.
Another interesting detail in the DC’s Doom Patrol Season 2 poster was Wizard of OZ reference.
The poster featured all the returning team members from the first Season, Brendan Fraser (Cliff Steele), Matt Bomer (Larry Trainor), April Bowlby (Rita Farr), Diane Guerrero (Crazy Jane), Jovian Wade (Victor Stone), and Timothy Dalton (Dr. Niles Caulder/The Chief). One new addition in the poster was Dorothy, Chief’s daughter.
In the background, you can notice the Wizard of OZ theme, which adds a nice little flavor to the overall poster.
Season 2 of Doom Patrol will premiere on HBO Max.
Till now, DC had been showing its shows exclusively on DC’s very own streaming platform DC Universe. However, as the DC Universe seems to be on the edge of the downfall, it looks like DC has finally decided to sacrifice its ego for a larger audience base.
DC announced the partnership with HBO Max to show its Season 2 of Doom Patrol, and the same was revealed in the new posters as well. For now, Doom Patrol will be the only DC show available on the HBO Max.
HBO Max is HBO’s new streaming service launched on 27th May 2020.
