CBS plans on making a fortune
Who can blame them?
This pandemic has been hard on everyone, but one of the worst-hit industries has been the film and TV industry. With shooting halted indefinitely, projects shelved, content with no release date, and millions of employees to pay, the networks have been working tirelessly to devise a plan to save their fallen empires.
And, according to the sources, CBS knows which shows to fall back on to do so. ‘The Big Bang Theory’, which went on to become one of the most successful sitcoms of all time, is the easiest way to make a fortune with a dedicated audience worldwide, just waiting for a revival to happen.
Chuck Lorre, the creator, has previously mentioned that he is always there to welcome the ‘The Big Bang Theory’ back on the screen as long the cast is willing, and there is an audience to watch.

So, who will return for the revival?
The cast of ‘The Big Bang Theory’ returns
It can’t be hard for the cast of the show to come back and earn millions in doing so. Jim Parsons decided to quit after the twelfth season due to “creative saturation”. But work isn’t steady in Hollywood, and a revival is a safe bet for anyone involved.
And as for Kaley Cuoco, the actress who played Penny on the show has perhaps been the most vocal about her desire to revive the show. And with Sheldon and Penny in the scene, we can’t imagine Johnny Galecki, Kunal Nayyar, Simon Helberg, Mayim Bialik, and Melissa Raunch denying the hefty paychecks coming their way after months of sitting at home due to the lockdown.
What can we expect season 13 to be about?
‘The Big Bang Theory’: Season 13 plotline
It seems like Chuck Lorre wasn’t joking about his plans for a revival when the show ended. The series finale left the characters at a point from where it will be effortless for the writers of the show to pick the storyline.
Season 12 of ‘The Big Bang Theory’ ended with Sheldon Cooper and Amy Farrah Fowler winning a Nobel Prize for their work, and Leonard and Penny announcing that they were expecting a baby. Raj finally found peace in the single life, and Howard and Amy were blissfully enjoying their married life.
We can expect Season 13 to focus on Sheldon and Amy taking their married life to the next level now that Sheldon is getting more comfortable with the physical aspect of the relationship. Leonard and Penny will become parents for the first time. Raj could find love without feeling the need to settle.
