Little Birdies are chirping everywhere that Brie Larson is all set up to lead Avengers 5. It’s true, after grossing a whopping $ 1 Billion in its origin story. Captain Marvel deserves much more.

Brie Larson has a seven movie deal with Marvel Studios. That means she is expected to appear in any and each movie the Studio needs. No standalone or cameo pre-decided.
Brie Larson Stands Up For Her Rights
Academy Award winner Larson debuted as the first female-led superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and went on to earn a bomb at the box office. In July 2019 Studio launched her with the mantel of Captain same as Captain America at the end of Infinity Saga. Which points that Marvel intended to set her up to lead the next set of the superhero line up.

Captain Marvel next appeared directly in Avenger: Endgame where her role was largely debated by the fans for the length. Given Carlo Danvers’ powers and superhero abilities, fans had expected more action from her. Now is the time for a third installment. But before that Larson decided to execute her prowess and stand up for her rights.
It’s reported that Larson met the Marvel Studio heads to discuss the pay gap in the business. Marvel apparently agreed to equal pay for her as her male counterparts. Larson for long had been seeking an equal wage right and top billing of the next installment from the studios.
Finally, with equal pay to top billing, it’s like Captain Marvel pulling a Mind Stone but in real life– the mind stones power to get what yours rightfully.
Inequality in The MCU
This makes her the first woman to manage the feat with the studio. Larson also charted the path of equality for other women in the industry, especially the Superhero genre. In the past, Marvel Studio has been criticized for unequal behavior. The long due Black Widow movie marks the start of phase 4 but has been delayed due to COVID-19 lockdown.

Previously, Robert Downey Jr. had petitioned Marvel for equal pay for his co-workers Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth. Marvel had equalized their pay, back in the day.
Marvel Studios is taking well-thought-out baby steps in being inclusive in the new phase. Captain Marvel 2 starts on the right note in that direction.
Upping the Anticipation for Captain Marvel 2
Not only that but Marvel heads are gearing up to let Larson’s Captain Marvel lead the potential Avengers 5 movie with a mixed bag of old and new Avengers. Fans were heartbroken when phase 4 and 5 schedules had no Captain Marvel 2 line up.
When Marvel Studio recently announced the release date of July 2022, fans started speculating all the possible line-ups that Captain Marvel 2 can bring. Given the variety of characters that Marvel will bring on board with Disney+ shows, we can totally expect Monica Rambeau, Hulking, Hawkeye, Falcon and Winter Soldier, Wanda Maximoff, Spiderman and more to be a part of new Avengers.
