Brie Larson stands replaced in Marvel’s all-women movie “A Force”
People expected that Brie Larson’s ‘Captain Marvel’ would be the clear choice to lead the team in the MCU’s rumoured project “A force”, featuring an all-female team of Avengers. However, the studio has decided to make some major changes to the project, according to Cheat Sheet, and this might also involve replacing the lead of the team.
The fans took the social media by storm when the studio teased the all-female team in Endgame. The movie briefly featured all the female superheroes standing together, in the climactic battle sequence of the film which included Rescue (Gwyneth Paltrow), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Shuri (Letitia Wright), Okoye (Danai Gurira), Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Mantis (Pom Klementieff), Nebula (Karen Gillan), Gamora (Zoe Saldana) and The Wasp (Evangeline Lilly).
“A Force” to be led by She Hulk
The A-Force could be led by She-Hulk as per reports on We Got This Covered. The comic run that debuted back in 2015 featured female superheroes led by She-Hulk so it seems like this idea is in sync with the character’s arc in the comic books. If She Hulk is chosen as the leader of the A-Force, what would become of Brie Larson’s role in MCU? The actress who will be roped in for “A Force” will be playing a wide role in the Marvel universe.
Brie Larson takes revenge by making all women squad in ‘Captain Marvel 2’
Disney unveiled a series of film and TV projects in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con. One of the big movies announced was ‘Captain Marvel 2’. While fans are certainly excited, it seems Brie Larson has played a masterstroke with director Nia DaCosta by forming an all-women squad before “A Force”.

Nia DaCosta, the director of Candyman would be at the helm of ‘Captain Marvel 2’, as was reported earlier. The detail was only confirmed by Marvel recently and along with that confirmation came the news that the MCU’s Ms. Marvel, Teyonah Parris, and Iman Vellani. Teyonah Parris will debut as Monica Rambeau in WandaVision. Brie Larson shared a text thread with DaCosta, following the declaration stating that women are absolutely ready for this, even if the rest of the world is not.
Is the world ready, asked Brie Larson in her latest tweet. I don’t see how we can be, she added.
Brie Larson and Nia DaCosta are clearly ready for all of it right now, although this movie is still two years away. Iman Vellani and Teyonah Parris are added and one can imagine how epic it’s going to be.
This was the first time that Marvel had officially confirmed most of the rumours.
Disney+ will attempt to make up for that in 2021 since 2020 was the year without Marvel,. We should be getting a steady stream of series on the service once WandaVision opens the floodgates, with the movies dropping in every now and then on the big screen.
