Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad to Finally Come Together in One Glorious Finale!
Better Call Saul didn’t have the exponential opening back in 2015 that it had hoped for. Five outstanding seasons down and we’re on our toes begging for the next season.
A prequel to the brilliant show Breaking Bad which needs to introduction, Better Call Saul is also a conglomerate of equally brilliant writing that has given birth to a number of complex characters that will go on to live forever.

- Better Call Saul ‘Breaking’ Bad?
- Season 6: Everything We Know
Better Call Saul is drawing a close soon and has almost caught up with Breaking Bad which leaves us with a burning question…Will We See Them Finally Come Together?
Let’s break it down, shall we?
Everything We Know Till Here
Something Unforgivable, Season 5 finale was a rollercoaster of intense emotions and makes the Series finale Season 6 all the more harder to wait for.
This season saw Jimmy get closer to the Saul Goodman we know from Breaking Bad, leading us to think that it was these antics that pushed Kim away. In many ways, the roles of Kim and Jimmy have reversed.
And also in a lot of way Kim is really the soul in question here. We already know who Saul Goodman is going to be on Breaking Bad but for Kim there are a pool of possibilities.
With that said, a lot of plotlines coming together on Better Call Saul over the course of Five Seasons might be pointing out something that was always there but we didn’t notice. Are Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad will merge together as one in Season 6?
Better Call Saul ‘Breaking’ Bad?
The show’s creators Vince Gillian and Peter Gould have hinted that the finale will be longer by three episodes and the audience is not expecting what is in store for them. Is this a hint at the possible merger?
The five seasons have caught up with what we understand the world of Breaking Bad to be like and the Season 5 finale left us with two major storylines: Kim against Howard Hamlin and Lalo against everyone. We know that Lalo survives as we recall Goodman’s terrified line to Walter White in Breaking Bad “Did Lalo send you?”
Will Walter make an appearance in the final episode? Will we see Lalo and Walter meet?
The thought of Walter (Bryan Cranston) and Jesse (Aaron Paul) making an appearance in Better Call Saul and witness the characters meet in flesh is certainly something that we won’t be able to stop thinking about.
Season 6: Everything We Know
Amid the Corona virus epidemic the writers of the show are virtually discussing the next season and have promised a rather unexpected exciting season. Season 6 will be hitting our screen no sooner than the latter half of 2021 with productions halted all over the world.
It didn’t take long for Better Call Saul to exist in it’s own right and it’s undivided attention on character development makes it almost better than Breaking Bad in some ways. So, to see the two world and their characters collide while it’s actually from the same roots will be nothing ahort of thrilling.
To cross that bridge that started with Better Call Saul and meet Breaking Bad at the end of the very bridge would be something that will forever go down as one of the greatest moments to have existed in Television history. We just can’t wait if this moment is to happen but seems like 2021 it’s going to be and 2020 hasn’t proved exactly the smoothest year yet.
What do you think? Will we see this happening? Are we that lucky? Let us know in the comments below!
