#1 Paddington 1 and 2
A perfect fit for your six-year-olds (if they are older, scroll down for more). Both the animated movies are sweet and silly and not just meant for a younger audience.

The makers of one of the sweetest Netflix Kids movies have done a mindboggling job as they combine modern tech with the classic storytelling techniques. Added to the clever use of sound effects, the starry cast includes Hugh Bonneville, Nicole Kidman, Julie Walters, Brendan Gleeson, and Hugh Grant.
#2 Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs 1 and 2
Loosely based on the 1978 classic, the 2009 movie is loaded with food puns. It is both a homage and a parody to Hollywood movies based on disasters and end-of-world themes.

The second installment of the movie is an upgrade on wordplay in terms of food puns. But it is the burst of colours and many foods that keep kids engaged.
#3 Space Jam
Another among Netflix kids movies, Space Jam is one of the best live-action and animation hybrids. This hilarious mix of Bill Murray, NBA star Michael Jordan, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and co will leave you rolling on the floor laughing.

But it’s not only the action-packed storyline that steals the show, but the toe-tapping music adds to the entertainment quotient.
#4 Annie
A very modern makeover of the iconic 1977 musical, this 2014 edition is all things nice but with a twist. For starters, the protagonist is not a “little orphan” but instead a 10-year-old foster kid who is shunned from home to home.

The movie also features Cameron Diaz and Jamie Fox in a smart but not exactly subtle setting.
#5 The Angry Birds Movie
One of the movies inspired by the massive popularity of a game, the Angry Birds Movie created fans even before it hit the silver screen. First-time directors, Clay Kaytis and Fergal Reilly, put it visible efforts to weave a story around the characters of the iconic game.

#6 Mirror Mirror
This one among the Netflix kids movies is a unique take at the classic Snow White tale. It was, in fact, nominated for an Academy Award for best costume design.

#7 Paper Planes
This 2015 kids movie is a tale of fractured father-son relationships. This engaging drama is an inspirational story. This foray boasts a dramatic edge as the story unfoldes an engaging web of love and loss.

#8 Hairspray
This story has seen many phases. From a movie turned to a Tony Award-winning musical, turned into a movie-musical of 2007. This journey started with 1998 comedy-drama.

The movie kicks in with the gripping number ‘Good Morning Baltimore’ and takes one on a funny roller coaster ride as it ends with ‘You Can’t Stop the Beat, Hairspray’.
#9 Zathura
Before he took Iron Man and The Jungle Book to fame, Jon Favreau built up his directorial muscles with this 2005 movie. One of the best Netflix kids movies, the story is of two brothers who find an unusual board game.

This board game takes them to outer space. So, it is basically a sci-fi version on Jumanji. And interestingly both these were written by Chris Van Allsberg
#10 Soul Surfer
This one among the Netflix kids movies is based on the story of Bethany Hamilton. It is an uplifting story with a big portion of how faith can move mountains.

Director Sean McNamara uses so many techniques as he turns waves into a mesmerising art form. It is hands down a must-watch.
