What is Twilight Zone all about?
Hosted and narrated by Jordan Peele, the series is an American sci-fi drama based on the original series released in 1959. The show is a collection of mystical tales where different people try to solve various problems with their own ideas.
The series has two seasons so far, with 10 episodes per installment. The success of modern adaptation has gotten a lot of attention from audiences of all ages. Jordan Peele, who is famously known for a comic act in Comedy Central’s Key & Pelle, has made a huge impact through TheTwilight Zone as he continues to receive endless praise for his work.
“Jordan Peele is another amazing creator and i just love him so much. I am so glad he created and added to The Twilight Zone. I am so excited I finally have the chance to watch it and so far it’s amazing as well,” tweeted a fan.

What will season 3 be like?
After season 1 made its mark as an international hit across the globe, the much awaited season 2 was a bit of a downer. On Rotten Tomatoes, the second season holds an approval rating of 67%, based on 18 reviews, with an average rating of 6.29/10.
But fans were kind enough to appreciate the good parts of the show. “The twilight zone reboot just came out with season 2 on cbs (sic) all access and it has some very good episodes! they’ve cut down the run time on a lot of the eps (sic) and it’s a vast improvement on the first season,” shared @sarahmhop on Twitter.
Another fan tweet read, “The Twilight Zone (2019) season 2 is exactly like the first season in that it alternates between some really excellent and some extremely forgettable episodes, which is how I also feel about the last couple seasons of Black Mirror.”
In the interview with IndieWire Chon said there hasn’t been a lengthy discussion on what season 3 could look like, but she imagines that if the show does see a third season they will definitely be influenced by events of today. Perhaps an episode or two on the virus?
Season 3 confirmation and release date
While there has been speculation supporting a release of the upcoming season, no official comment by the network or show-runners have been made.
However, according to online sources, Chon, Win Rosenfeld and other producers are in talks with CBS to make season 3 a reality. But due to the pandemic, nothing will be known for a long time.
